Egbert Driscoll home, 1820. This long rambling house on 273 Converse Rd. in an area that was called Christian Hill, was owned by a man named Blankinship. He paid a man $75.00 to build the original part of the house which was a simple cape cod cottage. Wood on this property was cut down so that it could be used in the building of the house.
