Description |
House at the corner of Main and Hiller streets - Bowditch house. Richard Harding Davis's "workshop," it was later the temporary residence of Franklin Delano Roosevelt when under the care of Dr. McDonald, and later the residence of Admiral Byrd. According to information recorded by Ed Tripp (former curator), the house is where RHD wrote some of his novels and short stories. |
