Capt William Hathaway lifts a harpoon on the Admiral Blake. He made many trips as captain of this famous whaler out of Marion, Mass. He lived on Main Street opposite Hiller apartments. Father of "Billie Pole" (sp?) Hathaway. Furniture in parlor of Sippican Historical Society museum came from his home as gifts from Amory Houghton, Jr. Portrait of this ship is in the office room of the Historical Society.
