    Silas Allen House in 1802. Now Lacey home. Built in 1802 by Captain Stephen Hammond who moved from North Marion. Was the last home on Main St. going West until 1829. Allen moved in and lived there many years after having been in the old Hiller apartment building. It was originally a beautiful Salt Box type of house, but later changed.
