Marion - Olga J. (Jarema) Kolcyski, 92, of Marion, died Thursday, March 12, at the Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion after a long illness. She was the widow of the late Joseph L. Kolcyski. Born in Plainfield, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Roman and Stella (Fall) Jarema. A previous resident of Malverne, N.Y., she moved to Marion in 1991. Mrs. Kolcyski was a homemaker, dedicated to her church, and a seamstress who made dresses for many family members and friends. She was also a member of the First Congregational Church of Marion. She leaves her daughter, Judith Fasciana of Marion; two grandchildren, Stephen Fasciana and his wife, Theresa, of Standish, Maine and Christina Fasciana of Marion; her great grandson, Joseph Cawthon of Marion; a step-great grandson, Seth Johansen. She was predeceased by, her brother, the late Stephen Jarema and her sister, the late Zena Jarema. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 23, at the Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, N.J. |
